There is an impressive number of weapons you can use to fight your enemies in Enshrouded. A few of these can be equipped at a time and you can swap to them by pressing their slot button.
Sometimes, what you need to be holding is no weapon, however. Having your weapons out at all times can be a bit of a headache, so what can you do instead?
How to Sheath/Put Away Weapons
As of right now, there is no official way to sheath or put away your weapons in Enshrouded. If you want to hide your weapons or have your hands empty while exploring, there is no proper way to accomplish it.
There is one way to deal with this though. By switching to a slot in your hotbar which is empty, you can roam around with nothing in your hands. This can be a bit annoying though, as you usually need these slots filled. You can get a backpack to get some extra inventory.
For example, in the below screenshot, slot number 6 is empty. By pressing 6 you can switch over to that slot and be empty-handed.
In the end, it’s your choice if you want to use this method of swapping to an empty slot. Until an official way gets added, this is the only option, after all.
