Dive right in as we explore the best presets for the Marksman Class in Escape From Tarkov: Arena alongside some tips and tricks to help you out in the game. Let’s get started!
Marksman Class – Best Presets
For reasons unknown to us, players are often not fans of this class. Perhaps due to the game being hyper-realistic and fast-paced in combat. Additionally, it could be down to the fact that players prefer indoor maps, and maps such as Sawmill are not played that often.
In any case, we’ll cover some of the best presets you can choose for this class.
Owl
Equipped with the VPO-101, aka the “VEPR-HUNTER”, this sniper rifle is a good starting weapon for all players. Overall it is a good starting kit that comes with TCW SP ammo capable of dealing a decent amount of damage and penetration to body armor.
Blacksmith
The Blacksmith also comes with the VPO-101VEPR-HUNTER, however, this is a modded version. It is a much more viable option for most players, especially for those preferring the map Sawmill.
Additionally, it comes with M62 ammunition dealing significantly more damage per hit.
Striker
This preset comes with the ASH-12 with PS128 ammunition which is a good weapon all things considered. You also get a level 4 armor with an earpiece making this a relatively good combo to use.
Calm
Finally, the Calm preset is the one most players will want to go for as it comes with the SVDS sniper rifle and the all-powerful BS ammo dealing ridiculous amounts of damage.
Do remember that with this preset you get level 5 armor. Not bad, however, it breaks quickly. Just something to keep in mind.
