(the) Gnorp Apologue is probably the most unique incremental game to come out in a long time, but clearing Compression 10 to beat it can be tough without the right build.

You’ll need to have a good setup of talents and buildings if you want to get through the 10th compression event!

In this guide, we’ll tell you about a build that’s guaranteed to clear Compression 10.

How To Beat Compression 10

(the) Gnorp Apologue: How To Beat Compression 10 Build Guide - Talents

To make sure that we can get you and your Gnorps through Compression 10, we will be going with a build that requires 17 talent points. It’s quite a lot, but it’s the best way to get the job done!

Now, these are the talents you should get for this build:

  • Row 1: Hiking Buddy, Extra Housing
  • Row 2: Popcorn, Superhot, Gatling Balloon, Bigger Pile
  • Row 3: Explosive Exposition, The Higher The Pile
  • Row 4: Future to the Back, Rocket Gatler, Infinite Reverberation
  • Row 5: Descent of the King, Deals
  • Row 6: Agitated Zybe, Gnorpcalibur: Unleashed
  • Row 7: Vulnerability Empowerment, Modern Warfare

The main thing to note with these talents is that they focus on Mountaineers, which will become crucial to your shard collection!

Basic Buildings

Now, it’s time to start looking into which buildings we’ll be getting. Note that we’ll be ignoring the Slam Club for this setup, though you can still purchase it anyway if you wish.

Also, it’s up to you whether or not to keep Auto-Housing on. You have more control over how you use your shards if you keep it disabled, however.

Anyway, these are the buildings you should have and how to set them up:

  • The Express: 20 Runners and Attunement: Mountaineer. Max out Speed and the G.E.E.T Protocol. Get the “Breaktime” upgrade but only use it once, then get the “Delivery Rush!” upgrade when available.
  • House of Shards: You’ll want to build everything here except for Robotics.

Advanced Buildings

Mountaineers in action
  • Rock Analysis Lab: Similar to the House of Shards, you’ll want to get and max out every single upgrade except Reclamation Nullification.
  • Archery Range: You’ll want to get the Fire Arrows and Ice Arrows both, but you’ll only use the Fire Arrows. However, due to the talents setup, getting the Ice Arrows upgrade will give you more Gnorps!
  • Cocoa Café: 25 Mountaineers and Attunement: Hulk. Get Improved Digging up to 192 shards and max out Digging Width. Also, get the “King of the Pile” upgrade.
  • Gnorp Propulsion Lab: 30 Bombers with Attunement: Weakspots.
Gnorp Apologue gameplay
  • Gun V. Rock: set it to Modern Warfare, which you get from the talents, and have 4 Gatlegnorp. Get the “Gatlegnorp: Ammo”, “Grenade Launcher”, and “Sticky, Floral Residue” upgrades.
  • Academy: Attunement: Set it to either Runners or Mountaineers, depending on which is collecting the most shards at any given moment. Get 3 Zygnorps and the Mountaineer Attunement unlock.
  • YX1-AB: Enable it and keep it on at all times. Get as many rockets as possible and the “Vulnerability” upgrade.
  • The Garden: Turn all 3 colors on, but disable Red if they start collecting too many shards. Get the “Flower Power”, “Amplified Observation”, “Enriched Puke”, and “Singular Shockwave” upgrades.
  • Shrine: Pretty straightforward here, honestly. Get all upgrades whenever you can and you’re set!

Now with your talents and buildings all set up, you should have no trouble getting your Gnorps across the finishing line of Compression 10!
