Qu Wangyou is a doctor lady who belongs to the Herbology Sect, and one of the many recruitable allies in Hero’s Adventure: Road to Passion.
If you wish, you can also marry her and make her one of your wives! But she’s also extremely helpful to have in your party due to her healing abilities.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to recruit the miracle doctor herself.
How To Recruit Qu Wangyou of the Herbology Sect
You can recruit Qu Wangyou whenever you complete her request. To start the request, just meet her at the Herbology Sect, also known as the Plant Sect, and then leave.
When you come back, she will have 5 sick patients with her. Speak with Qu Wangyou and she’ll ask you to heal them.
Now, healing them all is not actually required. You can fail to heal any of them to progress the quest, but Qu Wangyou won’t get her “Water of Life” Ultimate Move, which is great for healing allies.
So, if you wish to do things right, you’ll need to meet the following requisites to heal all patients:
Have a party member with +50 Sword Knowledge.
Have a party member with +8 Strength.
Have a party member with +800 MP.
Have a party member with +50 Toxicology Knowledge.
Have 1 piece of Thunderstruck Wood. You can gather it at the Level 4 Back Mountain in the Homestead, purchase it from the Night Demon Auction, or punch the tree by the well in the Nameless Village.
It’s also worth noting that you don’t need all of the stats on any specific party member.
For example, you can have a party member meet the 8 Strength requirement, while another party member has the Sword Knowledge.
It’s still going to be a bit of a pain, but it does make it easier to meet the criteria!
Anyway, a battle will trigger against an Evil Doctor once you’ve dealt with the patients. Complete the battle and either kill or spare the Evil Doctor. It doesn’t matter which one you choose.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
