With LEGO Fortnite’s release on December 7, Fortnite fans now have access to what is essentially an entirely new game with LEGO inspired skins, mechanics and world design.

A collaboration with Epic games, it can be played for free by anyone who has Fortnite installed on their PC or console.

It can be selected from the game modes playlist the same way you would select the classic Battle Royale.

How To Get More Health

Upon starting LEGO Fortnite for the first time, you’ll notice you only start with three hearts initially.

If you don’t level this up quick, you can expect to die a lot when playing against more advanced gamers, as well as more powerful mobs like the Sand Wolf!

The health charm in the crafting recipes

To get more health, you’ll need to craft Health Charms from your crafting bench available in the game’s lobby hub.

These can be crafted from a number of resources that you will collect in the game from fallen enemies.

The ingredients for the basic health charm

For example, the basic health charm can be crafted from Silk Thread, Bone and Wolf Claw.

Wolf Claw is picked up from Wolves, Bone from fallen Skeletons and Silk Thread is crafted on the Spinning Wheel from Silk dropped by Spiders.

There are three levels of Health Charms you can craft, each level giving you increasingly more hearts:

  • Common: One Heart
  • Uncommon: Two Hearts
  • Rare: Three Hearts
The equipment panel in the inventory tab.

Once these are crafted, you’ll want to head to the inventory tab on your menu selection, and add the charms into the equipment panel.

The number of hearts from these charms will stack, meaning if you have four Common Health Charms you will gain four hearts.

Be strategic when combining charms with other powerups to get the best advantage over other players – so you can explore the many secrets that LEGO Fortnite offers!

Epic games have announced this is just the beginning for LEGO Fortnite, with tons of new content set to be released on the game in early 2024!
