Stamina is one of the most important stats in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This gauge will determine how often and consistently he can perform a variety of actions, such as gliding and climbing.
Fully draining the gauge will make Link instantly stop whatever he’s doing to rest, which can limit your ability to explore the game’s massive world. Thankfully, you can expand it by upgrading!
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about increasing Link’s stamina gauge.
How to Get More Stamina in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Upgrading your stamina in Tears of the Kingdom works pretty much the same way it did in Breath of the Wild.
First, you will need to get at Lights of Blessing by completing the many Zonai Shrines spread throughout the game’s vast open world.
You will get one Light of Blessing for every shrine you complete. However, you will need to get at least four of them to upgrade stamina!
Every set of 4 Lights of Blessing can be traded in for one Stamina Vessel, which will expand your stamina gauge somewhat.
Once you have obtained at least 4 Lights of Blessing, you will need to find a Goddess Statue. These helpful statues can be found in every major settlement, including the Temple of Time itself.
Approach the statue and interact with it and you will get to pick between a Heart Container or a Stamina Vessel.
Getting 5 Stamina Vessels will give you a complete second stamina wheel. You can have up to three wheels and you start the game with a full wheel already!
That means that you will need to get a total of 10 Stamina Vessels to get a total of 3 wheels, which will require 40 Lights of Blessing. Best get to exploring those shrines if you wish to max it out!
Additionally, you will need to have at least two wheels to be able to complete a certain part of the story. We won’t spoil it for you, but know that it’s going to be necessary at one point!
Nonetheless, you now know everything there is to know about upgrading this stat! Just keep exploring and completing the shrines and you will get enough Lights of Blessing naturally.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
