Kynseed is finally out on Steam now so PC players can now also experience the peaceful adventure in The Land of Quill and its neighboring towns.

It is a role-playing and real-life simulation game wherein you have to accomplish tasks while also enjoying the progress of your everyday life at your own pace. This mechanic lets you play with no pressure of feeling left out by your friend’s progress. All you have to think about is your progress while enjoying the game.

Since the game was just recently released on Steam, there will be a lot of new players who would want to try this out. That being said, we made this guide to help you as you figure out how things work in Kynseed.

Beginner’s Guide for Kynseed

In order for you to maximize your time playing Kynseed, there are lots of things you have to do. As a beginner, you just have to know the basics of the game and everything after that will just follow through. Plus, exploring the map is always a must for you to familiarize the quotes and some important landmarks.

Aside from that, here are some of the beginner tips that we have in store for you.

Offerings for Brownie

One of the first things you would notice as you landed on your game is this small thing here that looks like a basin.

This basin-looking structure at the center of the town is where you can put your offerings to Brownie. Brownie is one of the best characters you will meet inside the game as it will help you maintain the good quality of food items around you.

What you have to do here is interact with it and choose what to give Brownie. Here, it is best if you give him an apple every single day. The reason why you have to give an apple is because of your apple farm on the right side of this area.

As you can see on the west of the offering section, there are lots of apple trees here. When these trees bear fruits, you are free to harvest them. However, if you arrive here a little late, the apples will be rotten.

But if you did not forget to give BRownie an apple for that day, the apples will not be rotten even if you come here a little later than the expected time of harvesting.

Fishing

Just like in any RPG, and life-simulation game, fishing will always be present.

Fishing is one of the easiest tasks that you can do here in Kynseed. To throw your line, all you have to do is use your mouse cursor. Use the right-mouse button to cast your line, and point your cursor on top of the shadow of the fish.

However, the ponds will run out of fish so you have to wait for them to spawn again.

Quick Items

Quick items are all the things that you can see at the bottom of the screen above their designated hotkeys. You can modify the things here to have easy access especially if you often need a particular item.

You can do this by simply opening your inventory and dragging the item to the list of items below. You can freely choose which hotkey number to place it.

Taking Care of Animals

Living in a farming town will also let you experience taking care of your own animals. First, you can give love to your animals by clicking them and choosing the food icon. Then, you will have to choose what type of food to feed it.

You have to make sure to give love to your pig as it will be your ride as you start the game.

You can also collect their products such as milk from your cow. The first thing you have to do is put an empty glass char on the list of your quick item, click to highlight the jar, and then click on the cow. After a while, your empty glass jar will be filled with cow milk. The same goes for collecting honey.

Unlocking a Skill

If you are wondering what else you can do with all the fish you caught, then here’s one.

You can go to Dreamer’s Nook. It is the next town located in the northeast part of your first location, Willowdown Farm. As you arrive there, travel northwest and you will see an NPC in front of a treehouse. You will be able to unlock a skill if you successfully completed all the requirements being asked.
