A Plague Tale Requiem: How to Find and Save Lucas in Chapter 3

A Plague Tale: Requiem is the long-awaited sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. In this game we will follow siblings Amicia and Hugo as they make their way through Southern France, fighting both soldiers of the inquisition and rats spreading the black plague.

In this guide we will teach you how to find and save Lucas during A Burden of Blood, the game’s third chapter.

Finding Lucas in A Plague Tale Requiem

As Lucas is captured by the soldiers, you will have to make your way through the forest and rescue him.

You want to be stealthy for this first part.  Lay down and advance forward to avoid the attention of the first guard, going up a five-step rock stair.

Another soldier will be searching the area, so do not get caught. As long as you are not extremely obvious and move whilst they are looking at the plants, they won’t notice you.

Search for this angle, as the wall we put on a circle can be jumped over. Only do so while the soldier is not looking at the plants around. This will let you reach an upper farmhouse.

From there you will be able to see two soldiers patrolling around the flowery plantations. Go to the left, where the tables with baskets are, and hide behind them.

Advance from one to the other and wait at the end of the second table, looking over to a position where you can see some barrels.

You will move to where the soldier is looking after he turns his back and starts doing another patrol round. Hide behind the plantation next to the barrels and you will see a door that leads inside the barn.

Lucas is there, being interrogated by a soldier. You have to dispatch him quickly or he will kill Lucas. Approach the guard quietly from behind and use a strike to strangle him, as what follows from this will have you want to be undamaged.

After you put the soldier down, another will alert the rest. Enemies will start dropping and there is no hiding now, you have to fight. The normal enemies can be felled with precise strikes from your sling to their heads.

A tougher enemy will shield will show up afterward. To take care of them, shoot at the salt bags or throw an extinguish to stun them.

While they are stunned or in the cloud of salt-pepper approach them from behind and perform a strike as you did to the guard that was interrogating Lucas: Amicia will strangle and make quick work of them.
