In A Plague Tale Requiem, most enemies can be snuck past with good timing and creativity with the usage of distractions. But in Chapter 8, you will encounter the formidable Falconeer, armed with his deadly Falcon trained to kill.
Instead of sneaking safely past him, Amicia makes the clumsy mistake of falling into a vase that loudly alerts the Falconeer of their presence.
You can’t even fight against the Falcon because it’s too darn fast. So how do you escape from the Falconeer when you can’t even fight back? Don’t worry. This guide will help you escape from the Falconeer.
How to Escape the Falconeer
Escaping the Falconeer requires impeccable timing and grit. The Falconeer sends out his Falcon every time it spots you. The Falcon is very fast, so by the time the Falconeer sends out the Falcon, you should already be behind cover.
Let’s start with our escape plan. The exit door is to the left, the one encircled with red. To get there, you need to make your way forward then to the left, moving from one wooden wall to the next for cover.
But as I’ve said before, the Falcon is very fast. But luckily, it’s not very smart. To get past him, you need to use a distraction to make them think you’re at another location.
To do this, use the toolboxes that are in the area. There’s one on the right and on the left. Throw a stone at it to trigger a sound, distracting the Falcon while you make your way to the next cover.
It’s important that I remind you to be patient. One mistake can end up being fatal for Amicia and Hugo. Just make sure to distract the Falcon first before moving on to the next cover.
The Falconeer will taunt you into making a mistake. Stay strong and patient, you will find yourself by the exit door in no time.
