Genshin Impact: How to Unlock Vanarana Underground Cave Puzzle

Genshin Impact has many areas with high-level chests, but are locked. The newly added region Sumeru is not new to this mechanism; in fact, you’ll find more complex puzzles in unlocking certain quests.

One of these is the Vanarana underground cave puzzle, and we are going to show you what you need to do to complete it.

How to Unlock Vanarana Underground Cave Puzzle in Genshin Impact

The withering is an exploration mechanic and climate in Sumeru, a newly added gimmick in Genshin Impact that can affect the player. When you enter a withering zone, you are going to accumulate gauges of Decay. If Decay stays fully accumulated for 10 seconds, every party member will die.

The underground cave puzzle in Vanarana needs a Bow user and a Dendro element user to complete it.

Completing the Vanarana Underground Cave Puzzle

Teleport to the underground teleport waypoint in Vanarana. Climb up the branch and summon a Dendrograna.

With a Bow user, send an aimed shot or charged attack to the red flowers while the Dendrogana is active. Beware because these flowers will hit you and inflict 1 gauge of Decay.

Clear the area of red flowers and remove the seal from the Dendro totem. Apply the Dendro element on the Dendro totem to recede the water.

Summon the Dendrograna again, and hit the remaining red flowers. Defeat the spawned enemies. Find the Tumor of Withering to neutralize the withering zone.

After destroying the Tumor of the Withering, a Precious Chest spawns on the area.
