Genshin Impact: All Minacious Isle Countdown Device Puzzles

The Countdown Device puzzles are a series of puzzles that you should solve, well, before the end of the countdown. Speed will play a key role in solving these puzzles, and if you don’t know how to solve them as quickly as possible, then this guide will help you.

All Minacious Isle Countdown Device Puzzles in Genshin Impact

You begin the event by heading over to the blue hourglass device on the tiny islet west of Minacious Isle. Surrounding the blue hourglass are pots that you need to break as quickly as possible so you can move on to the next puzzle.

The countdown will start once you smash one of the nearby pots. You can find five of them on the ground while one is located on top of a platform just behind the locked chest. After breaking all pots, go through the hole in the wall to investigate the mound and obtain the Sea Salt-Crusted Key.

Go back to where the chest is and open it for rewards.

After that, go through the hole once again, but this time, turn left instead of going straight to the second hole. You’ll see yet another hourglass in this area. Smash the pot right next to it to start the countdown. Then, drop down the hole and swim to the corner and wait for the water level to go down.

Head over to the middle and wait for the water level to rise again. This time, it will rise high enough that you’ll be able to open yet another chest on the edge of a rock.

Final Puzzles

After solving the first two puzzles, head over to the center of Minacious Isle where you can find a huge circular ruin. Go through the entrance to find yet another countdown puzzle. This time, however, you will need to light up the torches to start the puzzle.

Once you’re done lighting up the torches, open the Exquisite Chest and start looking for a switch in a wall within the room. Pull down the lever and go back near the entrance to activate another switch. Climb up to the second floor via the opening in the ceiling to find a locked gate. This is where you’re going to use the key you obtained earlier.

Right past the gate is where you’ll find another vase puzzle. After smashing all of them, open up the Exquisite Chest for rewards and proceed to the next floor. Here, you’ll find yet another hourglass with two vases on both sides.

This time, however, you don’t need to break the vases. Instead, you have to go through the hole on the right and interact with the star at the corner. Follow the star all the way back to the hourglass and it will open the chest for you.

Lastly, enter the door on the left for the final puzzle. You will need to light up the torches in this room as well. But before you can do that, you need to turn off the two torches first. Start with the leftmost torch followed by the one to the right. Once done, you can then light them up normally.

For the fourth torch, simply break the huge boulder on the right corner to reveal it.
