At a certain point of The First Berserker: Khazan, you can unlock various new abilities after beating a particular boss early in the game. In this guide, we will very quickly go through the different steps that you need to follow in order to unlock what are known as “Phantom Abilities.” The steps are actually very simple, so let us get to it!
How to Unlock Phantom Abilities | Keshta the Unyielding Phantom Location
First of all, you need to progress past the introductory sections of the game. After a short while, you will eventually reach The Crevice, which is a hub area of the game. This will unlock various features for you, including a new mission that you can take on.
Speak with the Blade Phantom to unlock a new quest known as the Stormpass’ Phantom of Combat. As the phantom told you, awakening dormant spirits could give you new abilities. Needless to say, you should be ready for a bossfight.
When you teleport to the quest location, you will be sent straight to where the fight will take place. Just enter the barrier to immediately start the fight with Keshta the Unyielding.
The fight itself should not give you any issues, as Keshta the Unyielding has very slow and heavily telegraphed attacks. Just beat him in any way you see fit, and you will immediately be given the notification that new abilities have been unlocked.
Upon returning to The Crevice, simply speak with the Blade Phantom once more to officially complete this optional side quest. Afterwards, interact with the Blade Nexus nearby to unlock the Phantom Abilities feature.
Here, you can select the Phantom Abilities menu and pick Keshta the Unyielding, which should be your only option at the moment. At the start, you will only gain passive bonuses from this. In this case, you will gain a small buff to your Stamina Recovery upon equipping the sole phantom available to you.
Franco is a writer and avid gamer who spends a lot of his free time looking for the next obscure indie roguelike to add to his collection. If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
