Fortnite: The Baron is Reportedly Hoarding Gold in his Office Location

“The Baron is Reportedly Hoarding Gold in his Office” is a location objective for one of the Found Quests in Chapter 6 Season 2 of Fortnite.

You can’t solve this one on your own, though. You need to ask a professional! Find the Robber Queen Valentina somewhere on the map and have her lead you to the right place. Just play the role of a bodyguard and protect her while she works. Teamwork!

The Baron is Reportedly Hoarding Gold in his Office Location | Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2

For this Found Quest, you need to find Valentina at the Outlaw Oasis named location. This is on the westernmost part of the current island.

Valentina should be hanging outisde the mansion in the Outlaw Oasis, by the pool. Find her and interact with her, then select the “Get Briefed” dialogue option. This option is only available if you’re the first one to talk to her, so keep that in mind. Valentina will tell you about the guards and start moving toward a safe inside the mansion. Simply follow her as she moves.

Once Valentina reaches the safe, she’ll start cracking it. Watch out, though, as this will also spawn 6 guard NPCs around the mansion! Find the guards and eliminate them, then return to Valentina.

You’ll automatically complete the “The Baron is Reportedly Hoarding Gold in his Office” objective in Fortnite once you speak to Valentina after eliminating the guards. This will also complete her Found Quest, awarding you with some nice loot and a Level Up!

Now, while the process itself is simple, many players report bugs and glitches preventing them from completing it. Sometimes you can’t interact with Valentina or can’t pick the “Get Briefed” option.

It’s unknown what causes this, but the best potential fix is to try playing in a different game mode. For example, try playing in Solo if you aren’t or try playing in Ranked mode. Also, make sure that you’re tracking Valentina’s Found Quest and not another quest.
