Fortnite has all sorts of quests to complete with every chapter and season they roll out, and these range from dailies, found stuff, and more. In the current state of the game, there is a found quest that is called “Someone is Planning a Joyride”, which you can complete by looking for a certain NPC and doing a few things for them in a single match. Here is a quick guide on how to find them!

Someone is Planning a Joyride Location

In order to start this quest, you must first drop into Lonewolf Lair at the start of a match. Refer to the highlighted part of the map image below, as this is where you will find the NPC you need to talk to.

Upon landing there, you will find Cassidy Quinn. Talk to her and pick the option to “Steal Kane’s Car” in order to start the quest. From there, just follow her to the nearby garage, where you will be given the option to ride Fletcher Kane’s car.

One important thing to note is that only one player can do this quest at any point in a single match. If you cannot find the NPC there, it means that somebody else has gotten there before you. This is why you should try and drop directly on top of where she is!

Upon getting in the car, your next objective will be to follow the waypoints that will appear close by. These are all marked with an exclamation point, and they are impossible to miss as their golden glow is insanely bright, even if they spawn a fair distance away from you.

All you need to do is follow the waypoints until you get all ten of them. There is a time limit of two minutes, but this is more than enough time to get it done. Seriously, you will be finished before you even reach the one minute mark unless you are particularly bad at driving.

Once you have followed almost all of the checkpoints, your quick joyride will be topped off with a jump off a cliff. After that, Cassidy Quinn will get off the car and praise you for your driving, putting an end to the very brief quest.

That is pretty much everything you need to know about this quest. You just have to get in there as quickly as possible at the start of a match in order to ensure that you can start it for yourself. Now get out there and drive like your life depends on it!
