Fortnite: Chapter 6 NPC Character 01 Bushranger Location

The Bushranger NPC is the first of 11 different NPCs you can meet across the island in Fortnite Chapter 6, but his location is a bit tricky.

Unlike most of the other NPCs, Bushranger has a pretty wide range of potential spawn points. To make matters worse, he seems to not spawn as soon as the match starts. Instead, he seems to spawn a bit later. Nonetheless, he’s pretty useful as he’s tied to one of the new secrets, as well!

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything we know about the Bushranger NPC and his spawn location in Fortnite.

NPC Character 01 Bushranger Location | Fortnite: Chapter 6

Let’s start with the basics. Bushranger always spawns in the western side of the named Nightshift Forest location in Fortnite Chapter 6. We circled it out for you on the map above. You’re most likely to find him near one of the Tanuki Shrines there, which we’ve also marked with stars on the map.

However, the tricky part is that his spawn location is randomized in each match. What’s more, he seems to not actually spawn until a few Storm phases have passed. That means he may not be there until later into the match. Sadly, nobody is really sure what exactly makes him spawn yet, though.

A good trick to use when looking for him is to keep an eye out for a speech bubble icon on your minimap. These icons pinpoint the location of non-hirable NPCs nearby, such as Bushranger. The icon will also be above Bushranger’s head.

The only issue is that you can potentially mix Bushranger’s icon up with Jade’s and Kendo’s since they’re also in the Nightshift Forest area. However, they stick to the northeastern part, while Bushranger is on the western side.

Either way, now you at least know the locations where Bushranger is supposed to be at. If you manage to finally meet him, you can get the following Services from him:

• Holo Twister Assault Rifle – 200 Gold
• Shield Potion – 50 Gold

He can also give you a Mythic Vault Key if you’re the first player to bring him a Sprite in the match. This key will allow you to unlock the vault in Nightshift Forest.
