The “Splinters of Possibility” story quest in Fortnite will eventually ask you to find the location of a Demon Warrior and acquire a map after you’ve defeated them.

Demon Warriors are a boss-type enemy that roams near the Demon Portals. All of them seem to hold the map you require to continue the quest, conveniently enough. So, you just need to know where the Demon Warriors are to take them down and get the map!

In this short guide, we’ll tell you the exact location of Demon Warriors so you can hunt them down for the map.

Acquire a Map From a Defeated Demon Warrior Location | Fortnite

The first thing you need to do for this quest step is to find a Demon Warrior. Demon Warriors randomly spawn around the Demon Portals across the island. The map above marks all of their potential spawn locations using the same white samurai helmet symbol they have in-game.

Now, while there are 7 Demon Portals, not all of them will spawn Demon Warriors every match. We recommend checking your map in-game as you get down to the island and looking for the white samurai helmet. Thankfully, the helmet icon shows up even when you’re far away from the Demon Warriors.

When you finally get close to one of the Demon Warriors, note that they will be accompanied by two Demon Grunts. The Demon Warrior is the taller one, while the Demon Grunts are much shorter. They also aren’t hostile at first, so they won’t attack you unless you bother them or attack first. We recommend taking the Demon Grunts out first.

Once you’re ready, eliminate the Demon Grunts and the Demon Warrior! They don’t really pose much of a threat.

After the fight, look around the Demon Warrior. He should’ve dropped a rolled paper, like the one shown above. That’s the map you need! Pick it up to complete the “Acquire a Map From a Defeated Demon Warrior” step of the “Splinters of Possibility” quest in Fortnite. That’s all there is to it!

Later on in this quest, you’ll need to find The Night Rose. If you need help with that step too, check out our guide on how to deliver the Splinter Blades to The Night Rose.

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
