One of the many main quests in Enshrouded will eventually tell you to go find Oswald’s Chest. It will even tell you where to look, but it doesn’t really tell you the whole story.

The chest is more hidden than you might assume, so you need a keen eye and the right tools to be able to find it!

In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find Oswald Ander’s chest and how to actually get to it.

Where to Find Oswald’s Chest

Oswald’s chest, or “Oswald Ander’s Chest” as the game calls it, is part of the Reclaim the Wilderness quest.

Carpentry Camp map location

This quest will take you to the Carpentry Camp which is south of Diadwyn and to the west of the Revelwood Spire. Conveniently for you, we’ve encircled its exact spot on the map above!

Before you even think of going there, though, make sure to craft and pack a Pickaxe. You’ll need it to get the chest for the quest.

Now, you will notice that there’s a chest inside of the camp, but that’s not Oswald’s chest. Though you can feel free to open it up and loot it clean, don’t let us stop you.

The rocky mound with the chest

Once you’re done looting the camp, though, go outside and look for a rocky mound. This is where the Pickaxe we mentioned comes in handy!

Bring out your inner miner and destroy the rocky mound with your Pickaxe to reveal a hidden golden chest.

Open the chest up and you’ll instantly notice that the objective to find Oswald Ander’s chest will be marked as completed. Not only that, but you also get a nice new weapon to boot!

If the new weapon isn’t good enough for you, though, feel free to try giving spells a chance.

Enshrouded gameplay

Anyway, you’ve now completed this small part of the Reclaim the Wilderness main quest, so you can continue progressing through your adventure in Enshrouded’s massive world.
