Find the hidden location for the Gold Butterfly in ASTRO BOT and catch it with a net to get the “Net Profit” trophy.
As you might be guessing, this trophy will require you to scour the Apes on the Loose stage of the game. It might be based on Ape Escape, but it seems the Gold Butterfly escaped in it too!
In this short guide, we’ll tell you where to go to find and catch the Gold Butterfly for this trophy.
Gold Butterfly Location Guide | Net Profit Trophy
The only location for the Gold Butterfly in ASTRO BOT is in the Apes on the Loose stage of the Gorilla Nebula, so that’s where you need to go for the “Net Profit” trophy.
Proceed through the level until you reach the main plaza area, shown above. It’s right after you capture the first ape.
Go to the opposite side of the plaza and you should spot a yellow ladder after some steps. Approach the bush to the right of the ladder.
Smack the bush with your net and the Gold Butterfly will pop out. Your goal now is to chase it around and catch it with your net! It’s a tad faster than you, but it will run circles around the main plaza until you catch it. Try to cut corners as much as possible and swing your net while jumping until you catch it.
The “Net Profit” trophy will pop up as soon as you help Astro Bot hit the Gold Butterfly with the net, so you can now leave the Apes of the Loose location if you wish! Of course, you should stay and complete the stage if you haven’t done so yet.
Nonetheless, that’s all you need to know to find the location for the Gold Butterfly in ASTRO BOT. If that was a tad too simple for you, check out our guide on how to get the “Thick As Thieves” trophy. It’s a tad more involved, requiring you to go through multiple levels and collect 64 Puzzle Pieces!
