Oil is used in a lot of things, particularly for crafting Gasoline via the Refining Forge or Industrial Forge. It’s also one of the materials you’ll need to craft various industrial structures. Moreover, it’s a very useful resource that you’ll need if you want to produce lots of jerkies.
That said, one particular location where you can find Oil in Fjordur is in the tiny oil springs near the volcano. The exact coordinates are 79.7, 80.0. Here, you can find a number of shiny black rocks which you have to mine using your pickaxe. Each shiny black rock will yield a decent amount of Oil depending on the rates of your server.

Another good location to farm oil is underwater. There’s no exact location as you can technically find lots of oil nodes lying around the sea floor. However, you’ll need an aquatic tame for this, with a Dunkleosteus as the most preferred tame if you have one.
