Originally, you can only find them on certain maps such as Ragnarok and Crystal Isles. That means that if you want to ride a wyvern on a map like the Island, you’ll need to tame one from a different map and transfer it to the Island map.
In Fjordur, however, you can find them in certain locations depending on their variant. All four variants of the wyvern are present, which are fire, ice, lightning, and poison. So if you’re planning to tame one but don’t know their locations, this guide is for you.
Where to Find Poison, Fire, Lightning, and Ice Wyvern in ARK Fjordur
Compared to the other maps in which you can find various wyvern variants in a single location, the wyverns at Fjordur are scattered throughout various areas.
As for the fire wyverns, you can find them on coordinates 96.1, 80.1 just right next to the volcano on the southeastern part of the map. You’ll find a massive wyvern scar here where lots of fire wyverns are flying around.

Lightning wyverns only spawn in Asgard, which means you’ll have to use the portal room in order to teleport to this zone. You can find them in a cave with the entrance located at coordinates 30.4, 08.2.
Meanwhile, the poison wyverns are located in the Vanaheim zone which, then again, can be accessed via the portal room. Specifically, you’ll want to head over to coordinates 12.0, 64.6. Here, you’ll find an entrance to a cave where lots of poison wyverns spawn.
Lastly, you can find ice wyverns in Jotunheim. Similar to the volcano island, you will find a huge wyvern scar on this zone. The exact coordinates are 64.1, 31.8. Do take note that Jotunheim is a very cold place. This mean you’ll need to have lots of thermal insulation before you attempt visiting this realm.
