If it manages to find one, it will then give it to you. In a way, the Ferox is a cute creature, except that it has one unique ability.
Contrary to what you might be thinking, Ferox is not a shoulder pet. This is because it has the ability to shift to a giant form if given Element. While in its giant form, it will have increased stats which makes it an excellent boss killer. It can even wear a helmet!

The location where you can find a handful of Ferox is on coordinates 20.7, 08.5. Here, you’ll find an entrance to the cave where several Ferox are roaming about. This is a pretty small cave, but you have to make sure you have enough hypothermal insulation.
