Perfection doesn’t exist. Bugs and issues are always present in certain games, and We Were Here Forever is no exception. This is why game patches are released, where the primary purpose is to fix these issues.

If you have experienced one of the most common bugs in We Were Here Forever (i.e., Loading Screen) and are looking for a way to fix it, you’ve come to the right place.

How to Fix Loading Screen Issues in We Were Here Forever

Players of We Were Here Forever complained about the Loading Screen issue. According to them, once the screen starts loading, nothing happens–they’re stuck. Usually, restarting the game would do its trick, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Fortunately, some players have found a way to fix this issue. In this article, we will teach you what to do when you get stuck in We Were Here Forever’s Loading Screen.

Fixing Loading Screen Issue

The first and most important thing you need to do is check if your drivers are up to date. Once you’re done, restart the game and select the DX 11 option.

You will now be able to launch the game without getting stuck on the loading screen.

However, if you want to do this manually, follow these steps:

  • Select the game in your Steam Library, and right-click to go to Properties. In the General tab, add -force-d3d11 under Launch Options at the bottom.
  • Make sure your Windows is updated, and exclude the game in your Firewall & Anti-Virus settings.
  • Turn off your Steam beta program and start the game as administrator.
  • If the issue still keeps happening, delete the Total Mayhem Games folder found in:

c:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\LocalLow

That should fix the loading screen problem. But we hope the developer releases an official fix so that players will have a smoother game experience.
