When you start clearing Dungeons to farm for that much-needed loot, you can sometimes be overwhelmed by enemy mobs.
Running around while opening your inventory to pop a few health potions can really be annoying, especially on the PC where the mouse cursor lands on a mob and you attack instead of running away.
That’s where hotkeys come in. Unfortunately, Undecember doesn’t automatically set your healing items to hotkeys so you will have to do these manually.
In this guide, we will be showing you how to Bind your potions for you to access them easily with a press of a button in Undecember.
How to Bind Potions in Undecember
If you look at the bottom screen of your HUD, you will see a set of empty slots on. From the left side of your health meter will be potion slots and on the right will be skill slots.
Below them will be the corresponding keys to press to activate it. The default for the potion slots will be the number keys from 1 to 4.
Access your inventory
Open up your inventory bag. This will show your inventory items to the right side of your HUD and the Character panel to your left.
This key binding option can also be done in the mobile version of Undecember although the HUD and button placements are slightly different.
Highlight and select the potion you want to bind
Look for the different potion types you have in your inventory. To Bind them, click on a potion. If you bind them successfully, a green triangle marker will be shown on the top right side of the icon.
The potions you bind will also be shown on your character screen at the bottom. Once you finish binding the potions, exit your inventory and go back to the game.
How to use bound potions
If you look at your hotkey tab in your HUD, you will now see that your potions have been bound to specific key slots.
To use them, simply tap the corresponding key to where the potion is bound to activate its effects. You can also use them by clicking on the potion portrait from your hotkey.
