 The High School Years pack from Maxis lets you do after-school activities by joining clubs that would help young teenage sims to realize their when they grow into Adults.

One particular club that we are going to be discussing today is the Cheerleading Club. Here, your sim can show your support and dedication to their Alma Mater by competing in weekly cheer competitions.

How to Play as a Cheerleader in The Sims 4

How your sim would perform as a cheerleader directly involves their fitness skill. If you cultivated this skill growing up then joining the Cheerleading Club would focus on building up that talent further in preparation for adult life.

Focus on Fitness

To maximize the experience gained from the fitness activities is for your mood is to be energized before doing your training. You can be energized by training on the cheerleader mat. A solo cheerleader routine done on your mat takes about 45 game minutes.

From there you could do your fitness training from workout machines or treadmills to train their fitness skill easier.

Adding the Bracing Breezes Lot Trait to the lot that you are training on will boost your experience in training your fitness skill.

After-School Cheerleading Activities

Cheerleading can be a hobby of yours as you complete your high school years. If you want to get serious, you should join the high school cheer team as your after-school activity. This can be done by accessing it on the business section of your Sims phone.

You will then start as a fresh recruit on the team and will have to attend cheerleading practice from 3:30 to 5:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Your daily tasks would be to practice your routines on your cheer mat to reach level 2 of your fitness skill to progress in the squad and become a cheer team member.

Once you are a member of the squad. Keep up with your practice until you reach level 4 fitness and before long you would become the Cheerleading Captain.

Becoming the Captain

As captain, you would unlock a Cheer team flag, a trophy and a cheerleading mat as your prize. Your sim would also gain the Cheer Champion trait that will allow you to gain fitness skills faster.

The cheerleading practice is similar to career work for adult sims. You can change how they work as they do their routines on practice schedules.

Setting the mood in the practice routine

On Monday and Wednesday, your Sim has the option of how to practice. Here are their options and effects.

Practice hard boosts your performance at expense of your fun and social meter, Goof Off gives you less performance but boosts your fun meter or you can Make Friends which boosts Social gain but gives you less performance.

On Thursdays, these options change to Be Aggressive which increases your performance but spends higher energy. Being defensive increases your performance but gain less fun, or Be Tricky, which increases performance and fun but loses more energy.

Fridays are when your training and dedication pay off with the Cheer Team Sports Day. Here you can buy a Golden Cheerleading Outfit and most importantly, you can create a squad to perform a group cheerleading routine on the field.

Your performance will be scored and you might win the competition.

Cheerleading Club

If you got the Get Together Expansion Pack, you could create a Cheerleading Club. Here you could add squad members and set uniforms both for cheerleading and club event attires. You could set requirements for your club and can train together in club routines and activities.

You could also get access to club perks where you spend points to improve on boosts for your squad training.

Maximizing Cheerleading

If you have the Get Famous Expansion Pack, you can get the streaming Drone and stream your routines to get a little bit of fame and followers. You can also get your drone to record your videos showing fitness footage.

Once you edit and upload them, it could give you more fame and earn royalties for the videos you publish, maximizing your after-school activities and earning a little bit of cash while you consider your adult options.
