Terraria Calamity: How to Become a Female

Terraria is one of the most popular games of all time. With the Calamity mod, yes, Terraria Calamity is a modded version of Terraria, you can get many hours of new game content such as new enemies, bosses, loot, new classes, different structures, more difficulty levels, 5 new biomes, 40 new songs, and over 50 new recipes to go along with it. It is quite the list. We will cover this mod in more detail another time.

Today, we will be exploring the possibilities of gender change in Terraria Calamity. That is, to be precise, how to change your gender and become a female. So without further ado, let’s get to it!

Gender Island

To start this guide, you need to zoom out to your minimap, and from here, find the floating island.

Note that there are always 2-3 floating islands in your world. You are bound to find at least one of them. Check the screenshot below for more details.

Harpies

Once you fly over to the floating island of your choosing, change the scale to maximum and look for creatures called harpies. These are invaluable for this to work.

Kill as many of them as you can and loot their bodies until you find an item called Coco’s Feather. Coco’s Feather is a rare item that you can use for the said process to take place. You need to equip this item to change your gender and become a girl. While equipped, you will be shown as a girl on your screen.

The moment you unequip it, you will revert to being a boy. It is as simple as that.
