No Man’s Sky’s 4.0 patch contains all-new updates. The game has undergone a thorough makeover and is now playable on the Nintendo Switch.
A significant overhaul of the designs, including visual effects for space, the planets, the layout of the inventory, and many others. We’ll show you how to get your exosuit’s maximum slot in the new patch.
How to Get Maximum Suit Inventory 4.0 Update in No Man’s Sky
No Man’s Sky’s current inventory is entirely different. Now, cargo slots and technology are shown on the same screen. The user interface has improved. All inventory can now be as large as they can be.
Upgrades must now only be inserted into technology slots, though. You can have 60 technology slots and 120 cargo spaces in your Exosuit inventory.
Obtaining the Maximum Slot in Exosuit Inventory
Your Exosuit inventory slot will become available after upgrading an Exosuit. You can decide whether to add a spot for the technology or cargo. There is currently a glitch that prevents you from increasing the technology slot.
To get around it on the Playstation, simply press the left or right buttons on the D-pad. Your Exosuit can be upgraded in two different ways.
Space Station
Going to a space station or a space anomaly comes first. Two upgrades are available in the same system. When you upgrade your Exosuit, you’ll have to pay in units. As your inventory slot expands, the prices will also increase.
Drop Pods
The second method will not cost units but needs different materials.
Find these orange cubes in the space station; they will provide you with nanites or navigational data.
To obtain an Exosuit Upgrade chart, you will need three navigational data. Get the chart, then apply it. The location of a Drop Pod will become known after utilizing it.
Find the Drop Pod there by going to the spot. You still need to fix the system to access an inventory slot once inside the Drop Pod.
If you have many units, you can just buy the Exosuit upgrade. But it is better to do the other method because it is free and you only need to use some materials.
