Shagaru Magala, one of the most cherished monsters by fans and a returnee from Monster Hunter 4, is honored in the first trailer for Sunbreak, the latest addition to the Monster Hunter: Rise experience.

Aside from that, four new monsters will also be added to the game. Additionally, the trailer shows all of the previously revealed foes, including Elder Dragons and other Sunbreak bestiary monsters and their subspecies and variations.

Shagaru Mala and 4 New Monsters Overview in Monster Hunter: Sunbreak

Shagaru Magala has four regular legs and two more limbs that are actually two other large claws on its wings. The monster in the latest teaser thoroughly demonstrates this capability by destroying a Barioth without a second thought and even recharging with purple energy.

For those who are unfamiliar with the beast in its entirety, the Shagaru is the improved Gore Magala.

New Monsters

In the trailer, Gore changes into Shagaru Magala as it gains strength and loses its scales on its back. To reflect the change, the beast is much more brilliant and golden in this iteration.

Shagaru’s basic form will behave much like Gore Magala’s angry form. For this reason, Shagaru will probably be reserved for the later stages of the Sunbreak expansion. Thus preparation will be crucial.

Additionally, the Bazelgeuse Vulcan and the Furious Rajang are also wreaking havoc on the Kingdom. Along with the Scorned Magnamalo, a new variation of the game’s star monster.

This agile predator has even thicker spiky armor to enhance its lethal assaults, perhaps sending each blow straight to the Monster Hunter graves. The Lucent Nargacuga will soon be added to the list.
