When you approach a tower in the open world for the first time, you won’t be able to interact with it. To let you collect it, you first need to build the Collect Power Towers Improvement via the Well of Fate.

Pretty much any building that you do in the game will all point toward your Well of Fate. The improvement is basically what will give you the ability to collect towers that you come across.

As soon as the Collect Power Towers Improvement has been constructed, you can then look for a tower out there in the world and interact with it.

It will then give you the option to collect it by pressing the X button.

After that, you can then build your newly collected tower in your base.

Do keep in mind that each tower has its own specific requirements when it comes to its materials. So make sure you have enough before you can start building one.

Luckily, you will be able to find those materials quickly by referring to the in-game map. All you have to do is open your in-game map in order to check the resources you need to build a specific tower.
