First, you will need at least 3 blocks of Cobblestone. This is a very basic material that you can find all over the caves in the world. It’s a grey stone block that can be mined with pickaxes.
Second, you will need 1 Blaze Rod. Unlike cobblestone, Blaze Rods are harder to find. You will need to venture into the Nether and kill Blaze enemies. They’re fire elementals with rods floating around them.
Getting to the Nether will require you to craft a portal, which will require you to get Obsidian. Obsidian is created whenever lava and water meet, and it can only be mined with a Diamond Pickaxe!
Make an obsidian structure with an opening that’s at least 3 blocks tall and 2 blocks wide. Light the bottom row on fire to activate the portal and you will be able to enter the Nether.
Once you’ve acquired every material, just use any Crafting Table you can. Set the 3 cobblestones in the bottom row of the crafting menu. After that, place the Blaze Rod in the middle row, on the middle column.
Alternatively, you can just use the in-game recipe search function. Just search for “Brewing Stand” and it will pop up.
Either way, the finished recipe should look like the picture above!
Now just place the Brewing Stand anywhere you want. Use bottles filled with water and different materials to craft potions. Have fun pleasing your inner alchemist!
