Oddly enough, skeletons aren’t hostile in this game. Instead, they are taken hostage by the Piglins in the Overworld. As such, it will be your responsibility to rescue them.
Basically, you need to head to the Skeleton Homestead which is now taken over by the Piglins.
Make sure to clear the area of the Piglins and destroy the Nether portal that’s nearby. Once you’re done, you’ll then obtain the Skeleton Spawner.
Now, how exactly do you use the spawner? It’s pretty simple really, though one that will cost you a few resources.
Basically, each skeleton that you spawn will cost you 2 diamond, 2 lapis, and 1 Flame of Creation.
As long as you have enough of these resources, you will be able to spawn a lot of skeletons who will fight by your side.
However, you have to keep in mind that you won’t be able to take control of the Skeleton Homestead forever. After some time, it will be taken over by the Piglins once again. When this happens, you will no longer be able to use the spawner.
Luckily, all you have to do is rescue the homestead once again to drive away the Piglins. After that, you can go back to using the spawner once more.
