There are lots of different equipment that you can use in Terraria. Each serves a specific function that can make your journey become even more convenient.
One of them is the loom. The loom is probably one of the easiest ones to have and use. In this guide, we’ll show you how you can make your own loom in the game.
Making a Loom in Terraria
Making your own loom actually involves some pretty straightforward steps. You just have to start crafting a Sawmill using 10 pieces of wood, 2 iron or lead bars, and a chain.
After that, you can pick up your sawmill and position it anywhere you want.
Once you have your own sawmill, you have to spend another 12 pieces of wood of any kind for the loom itself. These wood can be anything such as Ebonwood, Rich Mahogany, Pearlwood, and Shadewood.
Simply stand next to your sawmill to craft the loom. After a while, you can immediately have your own loom and place it anywhere you want.
Uses of Loom in Terraria
With a loom, you can craft silk which you can use to craft beds and sofas together with other ingredients depending on the type you are making.
Other than silk, you can also make different types of Robes and the Goblin Battle Standard.
For magic-user players, robes are the best armors that you can use during the early game. Meanwhile, the Goblin Battle Standard is for farming coins and other items.
Each robe that you can make has a gem counterpart. Given that, they also differ in their strength, with Diamond Robe being the strongest and Amethyst Robe as the weakest.
When creating these robes, you have to use 20 pieces of silk to make a standard robe. After that, use 10 gems depending on what robe you are using, then craft them together.
