To use your Murmuring Obols, you’ll need to find a Purveyor of Curiosities. These shady NPCs are the only ones that will take your obols.

The first Purveyor of Curiosities you might find is Lizveth in Kyovashad. She can be found near the southeastern edge of the town.

Source: Quests

Lizveth’s location is shown on the map above. Once you locate her, simply interact with her to open her shop. She offers a variety of unidentified items for varying amounts of Obols.

In essence, this allows you to spend Obols to gamble for gear and items! Note that things bought from these NPCs will be identified as soon as they are in your inventory.

This is the only known use for Obols currently, so you might as well gamble them away trying to get rare and powerful items!
