Albion Online makes it relatively simple to skin. It becomes a little more complicated, though, if you really must kill animals that only spawn in specific risky locations. This is why it’s crucial to farm with specialized gathering equipment to aid you.

How to Skin Better in Albion Online

Skinning is an activity where players enter the blue, yellow, red, or black zones to slaughter animals and use a skinning knife to remove the skin from their carcasses.

Most animals are found in the area near Bridgewatch or the Steppe biome. Certain animals will leave behind a pup or drop loot upon dying.

Also, take note of the areas where many animals spawn to make your life easier. Mark the spots on your map and visit them from time to time.

Aside from that, keep in mind where specific animals gather. This will make skinning more efficient since you already know where to look.

It is highly recommended to use the following gear:

  • Cap
  • Garb
  • Work Boots
  •

The Cap comes with the unique skill, Bear Trap, which is triggered when an enemy walks in, while the Garb has the Hide Animal Poison unique skill. Similarly, the Work Boots increase your movement speed and maximum load with the Scent of the Wilderness unique skill.
