Nopon Coins are a type of currency that you can obtain via various means in the game. As with any currency, you use it to purchase certain items and equipment that will help make your entire party stronger.

That said, Nopon Coins also have a lot of other uses. In this guide, I’ll tell you everything there is to know about Nopon Coins.

Nopon Coins Guide in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

There are two types of Nopon Coins in the game: Silver and Gold Nopon Coins. You can normally obtain them by opening containers you encounter in your travels, killing unique monsters, or as a quest reward. In some cases, you can obtain Nopon coins when taking part in monster skirmishes throughout your travels.

That said, you can only hold up to 99 Nopon coins in your inventory. Any extra Nopon coin that you earn will be sold automatically. As such, I highly recommend keeping an eye on your Nopon coins so you can spend them accordingly before they reach the limit.

How to Use Nopon Coins

You primarily use Nopon coins to purchase various items at the Nopon Coin X-change. Most of these items are not that easy to obtain, so I highly recommend using your Nopon coins to buy them.

The effect of the items you can buy from the exchange will vary, but each of them will surely give additional benefits to your party.

Another use of Nopon coins is for completing the missing pieces of your Collectopaedia. Here, you will be able to use silver Nopon coins to complete the quests in your Collectopaedia, thus saving you the hassle of actually doing said quests.

Quite possibly the best part you can use Nopon coins is for crafting gems that will vastly improve your character. However, you can only use gold Nopon coins for this one, making it a bit expensive.

Lastly, you can also use Nopon coins to level up your character class. This way, you can increase your character’s level without having to do quests or fight monsters. However, your character will level up automatically over time. As such, I don’t really recommend spending lots of Nopon coins on this one.
