How to Get Hero Triton in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

In order to get Triton, you need to complete his hero quest, Doing It My Way. However, he will be available in Chapter 5 only after you have the boundary ship. Once you have the ship, head over to Hargan Point in order to accept the Doing It My Way quest. Here, Api will tell you to visit three islands in Colony 15 and complete all challenges on each island.

First Challenge

First, you have to visit Ishan Isle for the first challenge. Upon arriving, talk to Ronja who will task you with beating four beasts known as Gyaarks somewhere in the area. After defeating four of them, go back to Ronja to turn in the quest. This will cause Triton to appear, giving you direction as to where to go next which is Daedal Isle.

Second Challenge

After arriving at Daedal Isle, talk to Lhukavu. He will ask you to bring some quality booty, and by that, it means to collect 3 different items. To start, head over to the Vinisog Holm Camp to discuss the Booty. After that, you will need to collect the following items:

  • Yum-Yum Coconut
  • Ancient Taos Fossil
  • Millenial Tree Amber

You can find all of them throughout Daedal Isle. After you have gathered all three, go back to Lhukavu to turn in the quest. He will then ask you to pick which one among them is the most valuable. Pick the Ancient Taos Fossil, and Triton will then appear challenging you to head over to Cape Arcaphor.

Third and Final Challenge

Head over to Cape Arcaphor, and upon arriving, go and talk to Kio who will task you with investigating the footprints. There are two of them, and all you need to do is choose which one you want to follow. Keep on following the tracks until you encounter the Arcaphor Gogol which you’ll then have to defeat.

After defeating the monster, head over to Colony 15 in order to challenge Triton and his crew. Defeat him and his crew in order to complete the quest. This will also unlock Triton at the same time.
