WoW War Within: Keeper’s Aid Quest Guide

The “Keepers Aid” quest in World of Warcraft War Within will require you to purify the Boskroot Basin area. To complete the quest, you will need to cleanse the Infected Wildlife in the area and clear the Stone Wards scattered there.

While purifying the area, you will encounter several different enemies, and all of them will be trying to kill you. Additionally, the Infected Wildlife that you need to cleanse will also be hostile towards you. All this can make the quest pretty tricky and difficult. Fortunately, our guide will be looking at what you can do to easily complete this quest and claim the rewards for completing it.

Keeper’s Aid Quest Guide

If you haven’t found the quest yet, you can find and accept it at the Boskroot Basin area found within The Isle of Dorn. The map above shows the exact location you need to go to.

Once you get there, interact with Woldtender Igris to view the quest and accept it. The quest will require you to destroy 4 different Stone Wards and cleanse 4 Infected Wildlife. Both of these can be found within the Boskroot Basin area.

Destroying Stone Wards

After you accept the quest, the game will give you markers on your map to help you find each Stone Ward you need to destroy. The Stone Wards aren’t going to defend themselves against you, so you can destroy them pretty easily by simply walking up to them and interacting with them. Do note that there might be enemies that will attack you while you are destroying these Stone Wards. So be on the lookout for them.

It only takes a couple of seconds to destroy each Stone Ward, so this part of the quest shouldn’t take you that long.

Cleansing the Infected Wildlife

Once you’ve destroyed all of the Stone Wards, you can turn your attention towards cleansing the Infected Wildlife. The Infected Wildlife that you will need to cleanse for this quest are Mycotic Shalehorns. To be more precise, 4 Mycotic Shalehorns. These Mycotic Shalehorns will be infected by Boskroot Brutes, and you can cleanse the Mycotic Shalehorns by dismounting the Boskroot Brutes from on top of them.

Unlike the Stone Wards, the Infected Wildlife will attack you when you approach them, so be wary of that. Their attacks will mainly be devastating charges towards you. Make sure you dodge these attacks as they can deal a lot of damage to you.

To dismount the Boskroot Brutes from on top of the Mycotic Shalehorns, you will need to attack the brutes using your spells and attacks. Crowd control effects are especially effective for this. Once you’ve dismounted the brute, the Mycotic Shalehorn will no longer be aggressive towards you.

With the Stone Wards destroyed and the Infected Wildlife cleansed, all that’s left for you to do is to claim your rewards.

You can claim your rewards for completing the quest from Woldtender Igris. The quest will earn you 23 Gold Coins, 40 Silver Coins, and 8700 XP.
