WoW War Within – A Lamplight for the Shipwright Quest Guide

In WoW – The War Within, you will eventually come across a quest called “A Lamplight for the Shipwright” which takes place in the Isle of Dorn region of the game.

In this quest, you will be trying to rescue Kaerter who went on to pursue Arathi Shipwright, the leader of the hostile Arathi group that is hiding in the hills. You will soon come to realize that catching Shipwright is not an easy task by any means. To help you out, I have provided a complete walkthrough of the quest down below!

Guide on A Lamplight for the Shipwright Quest

This quest is given by Peacekeeper Leif who is found in the Skolzgal Mill area near Rambleshire in the location marked below. His coordinates are 65.90 24.72.

Once you accept the quest, you need to make your way to the Nightshade Hideout where you will find the Arathi Shipwright. The location of the hideout is given below. The coordinates are 63.54 22.93.

When you enter the hideout, interact with Shipwright Isaebela. Upon doing so, you will get entangled in a bunch of webs. This will render you unable to move for a couple of seconds.

This is part of the quest so you can do nothing about it. Shipwright will go on rambling for a few moments about how you were a thorn in her side and you can’t stop the Order of Night, the usual bad guy talk.

Once Shipwright is done talking, she will leave the hideout and call her bodyguards. When the bodyguards attack you, your webs will get untangled and you will be free to move. Now show them who’s boss!

After dealing with the Shipwright bodyguards, interact with Lamplighter Kaerter to free him from the webs. Once you have done that, return to Peacekeeper Leif to turn in the quest. You will find him near the hideout in these coordinates 65.96 23.84.

Note: There have been a lot of reports from players saying this quest is heavily bugged. If your quest bugs out and you get stuck, then simply abandon the quest and then take it again.
