WoW: The War Within: And Now I’m Arachnophobic Quest Guide

World of Warcraft: The War Within is the latest WoW expansion, and it comes jam-packed with a ton of new content, which includes quests and treasures.  The War Within will take you to exciting new places, where there will be plenty of quests for you to do. Each of these quests will have its own specific requirements and rewards, with most of them being well worth your time.

In this guide, we’ll take you through the  “And Now I’m Arachnophobic” quest. Completing this quest will require you to help Albert find his friends. They are all trapped in a spider cave, and so your objective is to locate 5 of his companions stuck on to the walls.

And Now I’m Arachnophobic Quest Guide

To start this quest, you will need to go to the City of Threads, located in Azj-Kahet. Here you will have to go to Pillar-nest Xesh, which is a cavern infested with spiders. You’ll have to journey through the terrifying cavern and fight pesky arachnids along the way, to meet a helpless and weary Albert. Talk to Albert and accept his quest.

Companions #1-3

All of the first 3 companions can be found inside the cave where you start the quest.

Right after accepting Albert’s quest, look straight ahead to see a person webbed to the base of a wall. Defeat any spiders guarding him, so you can interact with them and save the first out of five of Albert’s companions.

Then take out the spider mob on your left and stick to the left-hand side to spot a person webbed to the wall. This is the second companion that you can find here

Immediately look to your right or in the opposite direction of the second companion, to spot another companion webbed to the wall. Defeat any other spiders nearby, if you have to, and interact with the third companion to complete more than half of your objective.

Companions #4-5

You will have to travel further through the cavern to find the last two companions.

Go through the narrow web-filled path and be wary of your left, as there will be a person webbed up on a slightly uphill area. Check on the companion to advance your quest.

For the last companion, go straight and traverse the slightly uphill path to reach a dead-end. The last companion will be webbed up right there. Interact with them so you can move on to the last part of your quest.

Now to complete the quest, you just have to talk to Albert one last time. He will be right behind you, so go downhill from the dead-end and defeat any additional spiders if you have to. Speak with Albert to open his quest page. Completing this quest will earn you 23 Gold Coins and 40 Silver Coins.
