As you progress through the main campaign of Undecember, you will come face to face against various bosses. Depending on your level and gear, taking on these bosses might be one hell of a challenge.

In most cases, you will end up getting one-shot if you fight a boss unprepared. Fortunately, there are a few ways to prevent that. First is to cap your resistances as soon as possible. Similar to Path of Exile, your character has resistance to various elements including fire, cold, and lightning.

Undecember also has poison and chaos resistance as well. But for the main campaign, you’d want to focus on increasing the values of your first three resistances. To achieve this, you want to look for gear that offer a substantial amount of resistance.

For example, you can equip a belt with +20 Fire Resist to add to your fire resistance value. Then, as it reaches its cap which is at 80%, you can then focus on looking for gear with resistance to other elements.

You can view your resistance values under Defense on your Stat Info.

If your resistances are still lacking, you can use an Element Resist Elixir to increase their values for a short duration. As you can see, your damage will be severely lacking during the main campaign. So, you’d want to focus on survivability instead.

This way, you can take down the game’s bosses without dying and causing their health bar to reset.
