With a total of 41 trophies to unlock, you’ll surely have a fun time trying to earn all trophies in order to platinum your The Quarry copy. One such trophy is available early on in the game in Chapter 1 involving Abi and Emma in the locked cabin and Dylan and Ryan later.

This trophy is called Just a Flesh Wound. If you haven’t earned it yet and are looking for a way to do so, then this guide is for you.

How to Complete Just a Flesh Wound Trophy in The Quarry

The first step to earning the Just a Flesh Wound trophy is to unlock the cabin. This scene will involve Abi and Emma who will be the ones to break in to the locked cabin in Chapter 1.

After a few dialogues, you’ll arrive at a choice where you either Leave Bags or Break In. As for this trophy, you need to choose the Break In option. This will prompt Abi and Emma to break in by forcibly pushing the door.

Then later on in Chapter 5, the scene moves to Ryan and Dylan inside the cabin. Due to your choice in the first chapter, Dylan will get his hand bitten in this chapter. After being bitten, he will scream while lying on the floor, all while begging Ryan to cut off his arm to stop the infection from spreading.

At this point, the game will give you two options: Desperate and Terrified. You have to choose the Desperate option for this to earn the trophy. After that, you’ll then have to choose between a Shotgun and Chainsaw.

Choose the Chainsaw for this. This will then prompt Ryan to grab the chainsaw nearby and start cutting off Dylan’s bitten arm. After doing that, you should then earn the Just a Flesh Wound trophy.
