The Cloister of Redemption is a stage in Chapter 4 of TEVI. Uniquely, this stage is closed off from the rest of the game, preventing you from traveling to other areas at first.
It also introduces a new gimmick required to progress, which might leave some players stumped. If you’re one of these players, don’t worry! You didn’t soft-lock yourself.
In this guide, we’ll tell you what you need to look for to make progress in Chapter 4 of TEVI!
How to Progress Through the Cloister of Redemption in Chapter 4
The main thing to pay attention to as you progress through the Cloister of Redemption are the green cracks in the environment.
These cracks denote breakable structures that you have to deal with to progress. However, your attacks seem to never have any effect! This is unlike most other cracks in the game up until this point.
Instead, you have to use other parts of the environment to hit the green cracks. Look for hanging cages, for example, which you can push with your charged shots.
Pushing the cages towards the green cracks will instantly break the structures with the cracks. It doesn’t matter if the cage is only barely scratching the cracks, either! Any contact will do, regardless of strength.
Basically, this is the stage’s main gimmick that sets it apart. Pay very close attention to the environment and look for green cracks with cages nearby.
Manage to push the cages towards the cracks and you’ll have no issue progressing.
Do keep in mind that sometimes the structures broken by the cages don’t have a clear visible path right away, either.
For example, the structure in the ceiling broke but no path appeared!
However, that’s just TEVI’s usual tricky level design at play. Jump towards the hole in the ceiling you just made and you’ll find the path needed to progress.
Now you know what to expect from the Cloister of Redemption, so you shouldn’t get stuck at any point in this stage! Just look out for those pesky green cracks and cages.
