There is actually a romance feature in the game that you can experiment with by interacting with certain NPCs. In this guide, we will go over one of the ways you can do that with an NPC named Alisa, who is involved in a side quest line that you can complete.
Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon – How To Romance Alisa Quest (Yours Forever Complete Guide)
Alisa is a woman you can meet early in the game, as she is hanging out in a tavern within the village near the corner of the Horns of the South region. There, you can speak with her after clearing her house nearby and telling her that it is now perfectly safe.
If you have not done so yet, you can still engage with her and her husband, and this will begin a quest wherein you have to clear the nearby manor of bandits. It will be marked during the quest, so you will not be lost. Return to her once you are done.
Later on, you can return to the manor that you cleared earlier. You will find Alisa there once more, and you can speak with her to learn about her missing husband. This will start the quest, Farewell, Lady Alisa, and you should definitely help her out.

Again, the quest marker will be on your map so you cannot get lost here. Go to where her husband is being kept, and then give him something to help heal his wounds. This should be all you need to do here, as you will learn that he was actually just trying to get away from her.
Return to Alisa and tell her about her husband’s death, which is obviously a lie. Once she starts talking about leaving, you have to convince her to stay instead. She will then comment about her lack of skills, which you can then respond with an offer to help her.
You will now have to find a bunch of materials for her, since you promised to help her do so. You will require the following items:
- Ragged Nobleman’s Doublet – You can get this from the area where you found her husband. Just check the containers all around until you find it.
- Frayed Silk Gloves – Just like the item before this, you can find it in crates all around. You might be able to get one from the same area too.
- Seashells – you need a total of 12 of these, and you can get them as a common drop from drowners. Be ready to fight a bunch of them if you do not already have any.
Once you are done collecting all the necessary items, you simply need to go back to Alisa and hand all the items over. After delivering each of the items, which will require you to initiate dialogue a couple of times, you should respond with “I always listen to you, Alisa” whenever you get the option.
After that, you can tell her that you can go somewhere together, as you will be able to protect her. Luckily, you do not actually have to fight in the next section. Instead, you are going to help her fix a part of her house and then take her there afterwards.
During your little date in that area, she will ask you a whole bunch of questions. Here are the answers that you need to choose in order to successfully woo her:
- “I dabbled in magic.”
- “Some magic is outlawed, but not all of it.”
- “I didn’t take you for a religious woman.”
- “Of course, it was meeting you, Alisa.”
- “I saw a sea monster.”
- “It was massive, bigger than a ship.”
- “Alisa, are you saying you’d like to spend more time with me?”
When that is over, you can speak with her again at her house, and you should continue choosing the flirty options. They are quite obvious, so just pick accordingly and you will eventually get the achievement called Yours Forever.
She gives you various items as a reward, and if you are feeling particularly psychopathic today, you can murder her for her unique clothes as well. That is pretty much everything you need to know in order to complete this side quest to romance her. It is far from a deep mechanic, as it is just a little side thing you can do.
