Whether you wish to use symmetrical weapon types or mix and match different types, this game has your back! There even are specific weapons that strengthen each other when paired, as well as skills and armor that give extra perks when dual-wielding.
In this guide, we’ll give you some pointers on what gear and skills to focus on for a powerful dual-wielding playstyle.

Stats and Skills
First of all, let’s start with the Stats and Skills you should focus on for this build.
When it comes to Stats, you want to focus on bumping up your Strength, Endurance, Dexterity, and Perception. These will focus on boosting your Damage, Health, Stamina, Attack Speed, and Critical Chance/Damage. They work pretty well for a very aggressive dual-wielding warrior playstyle!
Now, when it comes to Skills, these are the ones you should get and the order in which we recommend learning them:
Godly Physique (Strength, General) – Max this out for a substantial 25% increase to your Melee Damage.
Agile Fighter (Strength, One Handed) – Get it to the max for a 20% Damage increase to one-handed weapons.
Ambidextrous (Strength, One Handed) – Level it up twice to reduce Heavy Attacks’ Stamina costs when dual-wielding by 35%.
Adaptive Combat OR Symmetric Combat (Strength, One Handed) – What you pick here depends on your preference. Adaptive is better for damage as long as you mix and match weapon types. Symmetric is better if you want to be much faster and use identical weapon types, instead. Either way, you want to max out the one pick.
Frequent Exercise (Endurance, Stamina) – Grab it for +7 more Max Stamina.
Determination (Endurance, Stamina) – You mainly want to get this one just to reach the next skill, so you don’t need to max it out if you don’t want to. Restores 2%/5% of Max Stamina when you take damage.
First Blood (Endurance, Stamina) – Increases your Damage by 30% whenever you’re at full Stamina. Especially strong when combined with Adaptive Combat.
Quickened Strikes (Dexterity, Attack Speed) – Aim towards maxing this out if you want faster attack speed. You attack 8% faster when maxed. Works particularly well with Symmetric Combat.
With that laid out, let’s now take a look at some notable gear for dual-wielding!
Early Game Gear
It’s time to talk about what equipment works well for a dual-wield warrior build in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. For our first recommendation, you should go fight and defeat Bromhar No Face in the northern tip of the Horns of the South region. Bromhar is quite tough, but drops two great items for you:
Ravencrest Executioner – A one-handed axe that guarantees Critical Hits against enemies at full health. It also ignores enemy blocks.
The Perfect Ring for a Warrior – Increases Physical Damage by 5%.
Another good pick-up is the Duelist’s Sword, which you can find on the ground by the entrance of the Abandoned Stronghold. We’ve marked its general area above. Parry successfully with this sword and your next attack will deal double damage! Works particularly great combined with the Ravencrest Executioner and the Adaptive Combat skill.
For some other good early items, go to the western part of the Blood Lake in the Horns of the South region. You’ll find an NPC called Mallory there, who attacks you and drops some useful goodies. The Face of the Last Man headpiece is the main thing you want, as it raises your Melee Damage by 3%. The Duelist’s Sword isn’t too shabby either if you like parrying.
As for the rest of your armor, we recommend defeating the optional boss Abigor. You can fight him in the spot marked on the map above, on the path leading to the southern coast in the Horns of the South. He drops the following useful equipment:
Duel Knight Cape – Increases Stamina Regeneration by 25 and Critical Chance by 10%.
Duel Knight Gloves – Increases Melee Damage by 20% and landing Critical Hits will restore 10 Stamina.
Honorary Blade – Deals 100% more Damage if the enemy is below 25% Max Stamina.
Get the Elemental Blades in Cuanacht
As a final recommendation for this dual-wield warrior build in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, we recommend that you get a pair of special blades in Cuanacht. Their locations are marked on the map above.
The Inferno Blade is found in the northwestern part of the region. It’s dropped by Cindermar the Firebringer, which is one of the region’s bounties. This blade deals partial Fire damage, giving it extra versatility.
The Frostblade, on the other hand, is in the Amphitheater in the southeastern corner of Cuanacht. You can get it by killing Nivera the Chillheart, which is yet another bounty target. It deals a part of its damage as Ice damage.
What makes these two blades shine is that they’re pretty much made for dual-wielding! Both of them will deal 110% Damage when paired together. And that’s on top of dealing multiple types of damage at once! They can be pretty fun to use for this build, so we recommend picking them up as soon as you can.
So, there you have, that’s our best recommendation for a dual-wield warrior build in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. If you’d prefer something more magical and less slashy, check out our Mage build recommendationguide as well.
