While playing Stumble Guys, sooner or later you’ll run into players punching and grabbing each other during the race. But you probably didn’t even know that this is possible, since the mechanic is somewhat hidden in the game.
Racing in Stumble Guys is anything but fair – in fact, the game encourages you to get in the way of your rivals smooth running sessions.
One way to do that is by punching and grabbing your opponents. You probably already saw other players do that, but have no idea how this mechanic works. And that’s because the way to punch and grab is intentionally hidden.
How to Punch and Grab in Stumble Guys
Both punching and grabbing is done by using specific emotes, unlocked via the Stumble Pass. Once used, the emotes will cause your character to execute a corresponding action.
Punching emote (which looks like a boxer glove) will cause other players in its vicinity to get knocked back, sometimes making them fall out of the stage entirely.
While the innocently-looking Hugging emote (looks like a heart) will grab the player, allowing the other character to carry them wherever they want – usually in front of a cliff.
Stumble Pass
There are two ways to unlock those emotes for yourself. One of them will require you to gather stars by playing the game, which will unlock different bonuses in in the Stumble Pass.
One of the unlockables are the aforementioned emotes, and they are by far the most useful ones.
Paying With Gems
If you don’t have the patience to gather stars, you can also use gems to unlock the emotes faster. Gems can be obtained in small quantity by watching in-game advertisements, but you can also buy them with real money.
Either way, you should skip most of the cosmetics unlocked via Stumble Pass and focus on getting these two emotes to get the best out of your investments – either way, you should get a free skin every day.
