If you’ve been playing the latest Saints Row game, then you’re already familiar with its day/night cycle. However, for some people, waiting for a day or night to end can be rather tiring. Luckily, there’s actually a means of changing the current time of the day. The problem is, the game doesn’t really tell you how to do it.

Let’s find out how you can do that.

How to Change Time of Day in Saints Row

To change the time of day in Saints Row, all you need to do is to visit your HQ and take a nap on your mattress. Doing so should skip a few hours in the game forward, and depending on what time you sleep, it could either be daytime or nighttime.

If you want to skip even more time forward, simply interact with the mattress once again. There’s really no limit for this, so you can just skip days upon days if you want.

That said, there’s a caveat to this method – you can’t change the weather. So, if you want to change the time of the day because you don’t like the weather, then there’s nothing you can do about it. This means you just have to wait for it to pass, though sleeping for a few hours surely helps.

Does It Affect Anything?

There is certainly one gameplay advantage of changing the current time of the day. That is, you can easily spot collectibles during the night since they can easily stand out in the environment. But that aside, there are no restrictions to what abilities you can do during either night or day.

Brought into the world of gaming by the time he was 10, Argie knew that gaming will bring him countless hours of fun, a thing that has never changed even up to this day. His passion for games is apparent in the articles he write, and as an expert in the genre, being able to share what he's learned, discovered, and accomplished to his fellow gamers is such an amazing opportunity.

I’ve clicked “Take A Nap” like 20 times in a row… it’s still night-time. :/
