Portal as a series is no stranger to eerie easter eggs, and Portal: Revolution keeps the tradition alive with its creepy white room!
The mysterious white room just has a singular chair in the middle and you can hear a strange repeating siren noise. Is there anything hidden in this room? What is its purpose?
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to find this easter egg in the white room and everything about it!
What is the White Room With the Chair & Siren Repeat Noise?
You can find the strange white room with the chair and siren noise in Chapter 3, “The Surface.”
After you complete Chamber 7 in Chapter 3, you’ll come to a room with an elevator to the next chamber, as usual. Except, the wall on the right side of the room is broken down!
You can go through the opening to find a linear path through an air vent, which will ultimately lead you toward the secret white room.
The room is clearly broken down, mostly damaged by the overgrown flora and fungi. Nonetheless, you can still notice a mostly intact chair just sitting in the middle.
Additionally, getting close to the only door leading to the room will make you hear a strange siren noise on repeat. It’s definitely a very eerie little room!
As for the purpose of the room, though… it seems to just be an easter egg. You don’t earn any achievement from finding the room, and there seems to be nothing to interact with.
The door that seems to lead to the strange siren noise can’t be opened or interacted with at all, either. The only way to exit the room is through the entrance you just came out of.
Although the scene in the show is far less creepy and the room has greener walls, the overall setup of the room is the same. The chair in the middle of the room makes it clear!
Nonetheless, it’s quite a nice easter egg, although it sure is creepy if you find it by yourself.
