In Path of Exile 2, zones are split into their own separate instances. Hence, when you have wiped out all of the enemies in one area, you might wonder how to get them back ASAP.

In this guide, we will show you how to do just that!

The only thing you need to do in order to reset an entire instance is to first leave the zone. Whether through a waypoint or simply transitioning to an adjacent area, just leave it first. However, don’t hop right back in immediately.

Instead, go to a waypoint and then look for the icon of whichever area you wish to reset. Once you find it, hold CTRL and then click on the icon. Upon doing that, you should now be in the Instance Manager interface.

From here, you will be able to see all active instances of the map that you have access to. You can also create a new one, which will last for up to 15 minutes at most.

And that is pretty much all there is to it. Once you click on “New”, you will be sent to a fresh instance of that zone. This new zone will have all of the enemies spawning in like normal. Now, you can fight the same stuff over and over again if you are trying to get a certain drop or just want to kill stuff for EXP.

This is very similar to how it worked in the first Path of Exile. So, if you have played it before, then this method should be familiar to you.

The only thing to worry about right now is potential server issues, which might prevent you from firing up new instances.
