The Techno Nuke build is a powerful Technomancer build that’s capable of wiping out enemies in seconds while still remaining fun and satisfying to play.

There are tons of insanely powerful builds in Outriders, even more so with the release of the Worldslayer expansion. One build, in particular, allows you to fully maximize the Technomancer and obliterate your enemies in the blink of an eye.

If you’re interested in learning more about this build, then this guide is for you.

Techno Nuke Build Guide in Outriders Worldslayer

The goal of this build is to deal an insane amount of damage over time over a very wide area using the Blightfire. In case you’re wondering, the Blightfire is a much better version of the Toxic status. While there are a handful of Blightfire builds out there that focus on Blighted Rounds, they won’t even come close to this one.

For this one, we’ll be going for the Flame Leper set which transforms the Toxic status on your targets into Blightfire after applying it 3 times. To maximize your damage, you’ll want to go for passives in the Class Tree that focus on increasing your Anomaly power, life leech when performing skills, and damage to frozen enemies.

As for the larger nodes, you’ll want to pick the following:

  • Adrenalizing Antenna – For more Anomaly power increase whenever you activate a Decay skill
  • Wipe Out – To deal more damage to enemies below 30% health
  • Exposing Frost – To inflict the Vulnerable status on frozen enemies
  • Doctor of Medicine – For better survivability by increasing all healing you and your allies receive
  • Overclocked – More Anomaly power bonus when activating Gadget skills; also grant the ability to revive on the battlefield every 180 seconds

For your PAX skills, I recommend taking Lethal Devices as it allows you to inflict Toxic when using Gadget skills. You also want to take Override for added Anomaly Power based on your Skill Leech.

Ascension Points and Active Skills

You want to focus on upgrading your Anomaly Damage, Anomaly Power, Resistance Piercing, Skill Leech, Status Power, Elite Damage, Armor Piercing, and Cooldown Reduction. Then if you have extra skill points, you can distribute them to armor, resistance, healing received, and crit chance.

For the skills, you want to use Blighted Turret, Fixing Wave, and Cold Snap. In case you’re wondering, the release of Worldslayer added several new mods for Fixing Wave. This opens up even more possibilities to make the build work.

Armors and Weapons

The focus of this build lies on increasing Anomaly power and damage increases to Toxic and Blightfire. As such, you’ll want to look for mods that do just that. You should also look for mods that increase the damage you deal against Elite and improve your Cold Snap skill. But most importantly, you have to look for mods that will grant major increases to your Fixing Wave skill. This is a necessary part of this build.

Let’s have a breakdown of which mods you want for each armor piece:

  • Helmet – Look for one with the Anomaly Echo mod, and if you’re feeling lucky, try to roll the Danger Close mod as well
  • Chestpiece – You’ll want to roll Party Starter, Bad Medicine, and Icicle Storm on this one due to their amazing synergy
  • Leggings – For this one, you’ll want to go for Virulent Compound, Freezing Boost, and Virulent Compound for even more damage
  • Gloves – Try to roll Euthaniser, Radical Therapy, and Arms and Anomaly for even more damage against Toxic-inflicted enemies and a boost in Anomaly Power when dealing critical shots
  • Boots – For the boots, I recommend rolling No Resistance Against the Fortified, Toxic Piercer, and Unstoppable Force for more armor and resistance piercing

For the weapon, I would highly recommend a weapon with Armor Pierce and Status Power. Better yet, if you can roll Mage’s Rage and Fortress, it would hugely increase your overall Anomaly Power, especially if you have a high crit chance.

Gameplay

Now that we’ve got everything ready, let’s now talk about how to play the build. To be fair, this build is actually straightforward to play.

Whenever you start a fight, you simply have to deploy your turret for that added Anomaly Power. Then, you use your Cold Snap skill to freeze your enemies, and lastly, fire at your target four times. If you’re lucky enough, you can trigger the effects of both Mage’s Rage and Fortress at the same time.

Then, once you have everything rolling, use Fixing Wave. Just keep in mind that proper map placement is vital to making this build as effective as possible. Also, do your best to stay in full health prior to activating Fixing Wave to allow it to deal maximum damage.
