In this 8th Community Expedition, you start on an interstellar cruise as the Captain of a heavy Shipping Freighter rather than on a planet. Hold your horses; this might be the easiest Expedition yet.

Polestar Expedition Guide- No Man’s Sky

As always, expect this action-adventure survival game to maintain the exploration, combat, and trading it is renowned for. Let’s go into the guide.

Phase 1

Your first objective is to read the first entry in the ship Log. Once done, move on to repair the Atmosphere Control Unit. Then the next aim is to land on a nearby planet to unlock the Refiner Room. Do well to collect some collectibles and resources here. Once you’re done, head back to the Freighter to complete your next Challenge in the Refiner Room.

Phase 2

Again interact with the Captain to find your next objective in the Orbital Exocroft Room. This will give you the Drop Protocol Challenge, which further unlocks the Submarine Exocroft, leading to Rendezvous location 2. Finally, get enough Crystal Sulfide to unlock the Freedom of the Sea Challenge. Upon completion, you get the Teleportation Room for free.

The next Challenge is to discover 20 plants and get the Double Cultivation Chamber for free to place it down for the Farser Challenge.

Phase 3

Here, Continue to push and warp until you reach all Rendezvous points. Next, get the Stellar Extraction Room, and place it down to further unlock the Industrial Room with its Challenge and the Galatial Terminal Trade Room. This is the last room to craft. Also, you have to recruit 3 Squadron Mates, and you do this by unlocking three different spots for a price of 10,000 Nanites.

Phases 4 and 5

Here, you are required to find and repair a Crashed ship. To do this, head to the Space Station and see a Cartographer Chart to point you to a distressing signal. Once you find the ship you can begin repairing it with some of the Salvage kits you must have found and saved while on this Expedition.
