With the release of No Man’s Sky’s latest update, Worlds Part II, a ton of new content was added to this already jam packed spacefaring game. This includes stuff like gas worlds, terrifying yet majestic deep oceans, and even purple-class solar systems. So, if you are wondering how to begin exploring all of this new content, this guide will tell you the one step you need to do to get started!

How to Find Purple Stars, Atlantid Drive, Gas Giants, and Water Worlds | Worlds Part II

Simply put, just play the game. No, really, as you fire up your pulse engine and go along with your day, you will eventually receive a message that marks the beginning of a new quest.

All you need to do is go through the In Stellar Multitudes mission. As you progress through it, you will be eased into most of the new content added with the update. So just go ahead and follow all of the straightforward quest steps until it is completed.

The important thing to note is that you might need to complete certain quests first before this new one can trigger for you. A safe bet is to complete the main story first, though some say you might need to do a lot of the side stuff as well.

And that is all we know for now! If you somehow get stuck somewhere during In Stellar Multitudes, just continue progressing through the other quests, assuming you have not done all of them by now. People seem to be reporting a lot of bugs with the new content, so if anything comes up, you might just have to wait for a hotfix.
